I just got one 2 days ago and it already comes up to me when I'm feeding. It also eats pellets, flakes, bloodworm, pretty much anything I put in there. I guess I might be lucky though, because everyone I have talked to said this is near impossible.

i've had these for months. they eat really well they're completely spastic. stay hidden and dart out for food. they were cool at the store i bought them at. any ideas anyone?

sucks huh? Ha! i even picked up 3 NTT's hoping they'd coax them out. nothing...the NTT's are perfectly stable but just sit next to the AT's and look at me

I've noticed if you try not feeding them for a while, they come out of their cave, and also become stable. But what's the point of starving them?

I wouldn't do anything, just let it settle, and feed well.
If you try somethinglike chnage tank layout, u might disturb the ntt, which u mention are all stable

Much harder to get stable ntt than silver.

Alternatively add more silvers.
