Okay well they have some small spotted nose gars to early to tell if there florida or spotted lfs says spotted,,, anyway i have 2,000gal pond, 2 floridas and some channel cats. just wondering u think they will be safe if i buy a decent amount? the gar would be about the same size as the baby catfish, but the floridas are about 3x there size but real gental never mess with my cats. Tell me what u guys think? thanks...

how lond do u think it will take for them to outgrow a 25ish 30galish? how big can i get them in there?

Yup. Most lfs tend to mislabel fish. I saw some pictus cats in my lfs labeled as whiskered catfish. ??? Doesn't all catfish have whiskers?
Now they say there Asian gar? anyway ! I think there Floridas to but ill get pics. I think 95 for 7 is a good deal. Picking them up now.
The gars + the channel cat could potentially be a big problem for you and the gars. A hungry cat will always try to find a way to eat whatever it thinks will fit in its mouth even if the other fish is at or near the same size as it is. Not saying it wont work but you have the potential to end up missing some gars.
