At what age is too old for a female ray to breed?

6 year old female marble had a miscarriage. Is she too old to hold pups?

Is that mush what stingrays start out as in the womb? I'm sorry she had a miscarriage and im sorry if it offends you but that's pretty gross. Maybe stress caused it? Surprised nobody with experience has chimed in.

My oldest female is 2.5 so I can't say for sure but given the lifespans of these rays I certainly wouldn't think 6 is too old. Sorry about your loss.

Hi Sox.
Your ray has many years of production left in her, my female is in her 15th or so year and she is still producing quality pups. She also miscarried about a year ago but this was due to me moving her in the early stages of gestation, she has had healthy pups since.
Don't worry, there "will" be good times ahead.
