at what size will fh colour up and head up

maybe the title told the story but still a lil description.I am going to take like 40 pcs of imported zz red dragons or some zz.The shopkeepers guarantees that at least 40% of them will get nice size hump.they are around 1" with no colour and even no hump which even shouldn't be there at this size .So,what do u guys think at what size will a good grade baby flowerhorn have nice hump with colourations.Maybe,i get some luck with those baby beasts.

At 3-4" you should start seeing potential.

and what do u think in how much time will they reach around 3"-4" from 1"

Generally they grow about an inch a month, but it also depends on the feeding schedule and tank space.
