I have one female and 3 males in a 120g along with a jag all around the 6" mark. My female is always coloring up when sitting in the flower pots I have arranged on the bottom. The fish have cleared gravel out all around the pots but no eggs yet. This has been going on for over a month now. When will they start? Two of the males are about an inch bigger than my female and one is about an inch smaller.

females around the 4 inch mark, males sometimes take a little longer- by 5-6 inches they should be more than ready. Make sure you have suitable hiding places for the other inhabitants, or in hte worst case scenario - remove all other tankmates. Festaes are known for their intense brood care, and that travels over into aggression as well.
