I got bit bye a pirhanha....and lets just say it hurt and is still bleeding lol...it was a crazy incident...it felt like someone stabbing me with a knife...

I have to have helper when cleaning tank,just to keep it at bay with a net.
My Largest convicts are the same but it don't hurt.makes you jump though.

my mbuna were bitting the crap out of my hands and arms when I switched out the sand and replaced the rock... it did not hurt, but they would then jump up... I thought one would jump out...
Piranha bite when stressed and when they are inticed with some type of food. There sharp little daggers move about a zillion miles an hour when stressed. No wonder you got bit lol. You probably stressed it out a little to much and you just happened to catch the buisness end. Sorry man I know how bad that hurts. I got bit by my old Beani and he has some massive teeth. Bit me right in the wrist almost at the vein. Hurts like a MUTHA^$$&^%^. I bet you screamed a couple words lol.
