I finally saw ONE of my 3 Atabapo II pikes eat freeze dried krill today. This is the 1st time any of them has ever accepted a prepared food. I've noticed them getting closer to the krill and the food sticks over the last week or so and hopefully the other 2 will follow his lead soon. The trio is inseparable, so if one is doing it I hope it won't be long for others to follow his lead!

love the red on these guys....I'd love to see pics of your trio. I'm thinking about getting a pike for my SA tank but I'm afraid it will think it has a chance against my dorado in a fight and the dorado will kill it....
 
I think you are right Decker, once one eats it hopefully pack mentality will kick in and the other two will join in on the feast. I think arowanaryan is right that we need more pics and videos of your trio. Good luck!

They look great! I glad to see that they made it thru they storm ok. I was thinking about you guys in New Orleans . Hopefully you and your girlfriend and the rest of your fish are doing well after the storm.
 
what did you feed them before krill?
