All- I have three Atabapo II pikes all about 3 1/2" - 4 " . I have had them since November and the have only grown about and 1inch or so and have gotten a little fatter. I feed them blood worms, brine shrimp, red worms. I rarley feed them live fish. They seem to growing very slow but otherwise healthy. Is it the lack of live fish that is slowing thier growth or do they just grow slowly?

Your food doesnt have much to it. Try mixing in pellets w/ the worms so its like a paste. Feed a tiny bit at a time. Add the amount of pellets as they get used to it. eventually stictly pellets. Use frozen bloodworms for this. Before adding the crushed pellets thaw the frzn bw and drain the liquid.

I have tried to mix in pellets in paste mixed with blood worms and brine shrimp they picked the worms and shrimp out of it and did not seem to care for the pasted pellets. I was hoping as they got a little bigger they would take nightcrawlers. I was thinking maybe I will attemp to feed them crushed nightcrawlers.
