Pic taken with no flash, and yes this is the real colour of the fish. Considering he landed in the tank two days ago, he/she is pretty gutsy nipping on an aro's fin that is considerably bigger, lol.

Yes they are assertive to say the least. My big pair took out a big mono and hoplachus. They started stalking my biggest ornatum, so I put them in their own tank. Beautiful fish, and you group is amazing!

Thx guys. This variant is actually known as quite docile for pikes, lol. Yes, Decker they are no slouches either. My 6" lents are wayyyyy more aggressive.
