The fish in this pic looks like a Tapajos 1 "red" pike (female)

Hey Jay u have only clue if one mines a female , but they act like a pair with the vibration they give , and they never fight,and they pair up and fight together , plus I look all on YouTube lot females didn't have the white on fin but were females

I'm definitely no pike expert, so not positive if the atabapo females will always have that white stripe on their dorsal or not..Just got my pair of tapajos 1 pikes from Rapps and the female looks identical to the other pic...they're definitely some pike experts on here that could better answer your question...my female is already looking to kill the male after 3days being together, gd luck with yours

Thanks I believe its a female bcuz 2 males will go at it I think, Yea these jokers r mean my male fights my 12in flowerhorn n red texas Got love how deep red they get

adult females will have the white stripe, and those are adults due to the coloration already present
