Would I be able to just raise the temp to about 86 and treat it that way?

Looks like Lymphocystis to me. It can be mistaken for ich. It usually shows up on the fins. I would keep treating for Ich for at least 10 days just in case. The high temps and salt should take care of it if its ich. If the spots remain after a full ick treatment I would assume its Lymphocystis. There is no known cure for it.
