They grow to six feet and dont really tolerate tankmates. They do okay in normal water parameters. And they are big poopers so keep it clean and use heavy filtration.

great.....but mine was raised with arowanas.....and i'm throwin him into a pond...

Just keep him fed because I feed my annectens a lot and I tried to cut down on the feeding and it gave me a warning by taking out a silver dollar.

In my opinion it doesnt matter what its raised with, it will kill and eat something eventually and i'd be worried that if its going with arrowana you'll wake one morning to find arrowana bits all over the pond.

They are very capable predators and have impressive jaw strength if they cant swallow it they will crush it.

One other word of advice...they will bite the keeper and it does hurt a great deal.
