I bought a 3in vatf from rapps a few mths ago, and put him in a 55g. Well he's grown some and I decided that I would move him to a 75g. After I finally caught him with the net, he went bottom up and got stiff. At first I started freaking out, but then I remembered a thread West1 put up about it. I put him in the 75g and stepped back....almost immediately he went rightside up and started swimming around, lol. Its kind of scary seeing this behavior first hand, I wonder if atf play possum in the wild.

I've heard this before. But I've never seen it first hand. I've moved plenty of VATFs and a few GATFs and they've never done it.
I dropped one of my Gatfs when i was moving him to another tank, the sucker jumped out of the net and hit the window brace. Thought he was a goner but i held him near the power head for a good minute and he came back to life.
