Finally back in the game. Just wanted to show pics of my grow out for the 2 vatf I am getting soon. I will have a 4x2x2 setup and ready to go in 2 weeks. The tank as of now is a 55 and currently houses 3 tinfoils and a golden cigar shark.

The media is in there for now until I get
my fx5 from a friend next week. Gonna toss 3 bags inside it. The other 2 are extras for my sump when I get the 120 gallon. They're in there to grow bb for the time being. My tank will have plenty of oxygen and flow with the addition of the fx5. Thanks.

The FX5 won't be enough movement for them. For the 120, I'd recommend at bare minimum 3000 gph of powerheads. Keep in mind that these fish live in two main ecosystems: crashing whitewater riverine ecosystems and large, open, highly oxygenated lakes immediately downstream of whitewater rivers. We as hobbyists only have the means to artificially recreate one of those two.
So I ended up getting 3 and they were actually Tanzaniae which didn't bother me at all. Finally settled in and loving the flow. Tank mates are 2 cigar sharks, 1 barilius bakeri and 3 tinfoils.
Thanks guys, everyone is doing good. I just added a vittatus to the pack and an azul pbass recently without any problems. Everyone is on pellets except one of the Tanzaniae which I hope it breaks soon. Not sure about their growth since these species are new to me growing out. It's only been about a month and I can notice growth on the 2 tanz that are on pellets. These pics are horrible but it's all I have and its late lol. I'll get better ones tomorrow I will keep updating this thread.
