Pineapple under the sea
Local LFS have these two aft and sell them as vittatus for $99.00 each
i am thinking to get both of em, but i need to make sure they are vittatus (not brevis)
here are pictures of them

1st atf - they have bigger tail (not boomerang shape) than the second

100% not vittatus. im leaning towards forskalli, but the eye looks rather large. Possible big eye species? i saw the large eye once in a chicago area pet store and ive kept 10 or more juvy forskalli. will nip at each other and sometimes injuries can be fatal.

thanks for the input, can you tell me how are you 100% sure its not vits? i thought vits and forskalli are the same?

vittatus on top forskalli on bottom. easy to tell apart bro, not at all the same fish. trust me 100% not vittatus. vittatus thicker bodied, more color on tail. ive had both of these fish since they were 2.5 inches.

Great to know, i got both yesterday. Its time to hunt for a vittatus then! and thanks bro for the clarification (y)
any advice on getting them off live?

u can starve them for more than a week. offer shrimp and other frozen meats. they will show intrest and even eat off the bottom of the tank. hikari prdator sticks are a good option. just be patient.
