I spotted a tank full of two to three inchers in a store that I visited but they all had a gold color to their bodies instead of the silver that I've seen before. They were labeled as Vitatus but did'nt have any red in the tails either.Anyone ever see Vitatus with this coloring?

I Was going to get the tarpons but i really dont need anymore lol 6 is plenty

Where was the goliath located, over by the Aimara?I noticed ich on quite a few different fish while I was there.

I have 3 gatf only one has a lot of red in the tail other 2 just barely noticeable all bout 5" n all are silver.

Yea they were. I looked at them close there was no ich on the GATF they looked pretty nice actually. The vatf on the otherhand....

gatf will reflect white/silver/greenish, while vatf has similar greenish coloring, will also find a pinkish hue that does not exist on GATF (under white light). Both juvis may not have red in the tail, but the vatf may have some black highlights/ascents, look for signs of coloration whether it's spread through out the tail or concentrated on lower half, that later pointing to GATF. the most telling sign for me is the shape of the head and mouth. GATF's are more blunt, but have seen VATFs that resemble this as well. body Hue/location of tail coloration/mouth shape, these 2 variables together should give a good idea.

There are non-VATF ie FATF that don't have the pink hue, but these fish are elongated.
