I'm trying to get my hands on my first ATF and a local fish store has some Goliath on sale for $350 but I don't want to rush into getting ripped off with that high price.
I read that the best months for competitive game fishing for ATF's is from September thru February with Peak months being October and November.
Do you know if this applies to the wild caught juveniles that suppliers import for us here to own in the US or are the juveniles caught for our aquariums on a different seasonal schedule then those monsters competitive fishermen are catching?
Do you think I should wait a bit into the next couple months to see if more suppliers get any ATF? I called around and can't find the fish from any of stores in WA state and neabry states. I just don't want to miss the season.
