you'd like to know
i was planning on getting an atlantic salmon.but im not sure about it being in the tank.do u=you think it could co-exist in a predatory tank, and if so will it acclimate to tropical temperatures

Considering that their home range is within the northern limits of the northern hemisphere, I do not think they will thrive in tropical temperatures. They are also anadromous so you would need to find a young specimen if you wanted to keep it in freshwater. In terms of coexisting with other fish, salmon are a predatory species and would likely prey on smaller tankmates.

I've only ever seen one salmon tank in my life and it is like 25K gallons....

They don't need to be kept in saltwater, there are landlocked populations as well that live their entire life in fresh.
Rearing Atlantic salmon won't be anything except difficult, I suggest researching this heavily. Have you figured out how you're going to get ahold of some?

yeah, there is a fish farm that sells salmon, and i found a good amount of them.also thats good news that they can live in freshwater their whole lives.i didnt know that.but can they be kept in saltwater?

They will die at tropical temps, or even room temps. 65F is about tops to stay healthy.
