I am selling Atlantic sharpnose sharks. They are anywhere from 10-14". These sharks are very similar in apperance to Blacktip reef sharks. They are a very active, shark. They grow much slower than blacktips and stay half the size. Will post pictures soon. Asking $600 per shark. Guaranteed live arrival.

Pics! Make me set something up for them!

Sound pretty cool. Almost makes me want to set up a salt tank, almost.

That's alot higher than the local(for me) online dealers in NC & SC. They generally Average about $ 350 - 400 for pups that size. But then your in Indiana - so that likely part of the price difference.

By the way a little quick info on the Atlantic Sharpnose.

Also sharpies aren't slower growers than blacktip - in fact they're the exact opposite. Sharpies mature in about 2-2.5 years. They can max out at just under 4' long, but usually average about 3.25 - 3.5' long.

By the way - sharpies are faster, & more agile than blacktips or Blacktip reefs. They are generally as hardy as the blacktip reef(and hardier than the standard Blacktip). They are also voracious feeders that adapt well to captivity. But are basically harmless to people.

For the pups you'll need a shark pool that at least 10ft in diameter(about 1,700 gallons). For the adults you'll need a pool that at least 15' in diameter(at least 4,600 gallons).

And they are known to tolerate brackish water for brief periods(up to a couple of days). But generally prefer a SG of 1.025 -1.018. Also they seem to prefer water temps in the range of 77-86 F (25-30 C).
