Atlantis Aquarium LI New York???

Im wondering if anyone has gone to this Aquarium. Mainly my question is .. Is there any good fresh water exhibits? American Cichlids mainly. Does anyone recommend going or can someone recommend a better aquarium for the American cichlid enthusiasts in the NYC area. Thanx.

the coney island aquarium has a decent fw exhibit.. not really focused on cichlids but its decent. I never been to the one on LI.. lemme know how it goes

I've been to Atlantis in Riverhead a couple of times.I live out on Long Island.They have a few ca/sa cichlid tanks.Not really much to speak of.Kind of doubt it would be worth your while to go all the way out there if all your interested in is freshwater cichlids.I mean they do have other tanks of salt water and a huge area where they have some Rays you can touch.
