Atropine , Anyone used it???

So I was watching a CSI (vegas) episode and it involved a Koi fish breeder who was cutting his coke with atropine (Which is common) But I guess he had access to it being a fish breeder and its some kind of sedative to fish ?

Anyone use it or heard of it actually being used in aquariums. I know eye doctors use it to dilate pupils but beyond that im not sure.

PS If you havent seen the episode its in the ninth season called "Let it bleed" Its online on hulu.com .Theres an awesome scene where you see a beautiful clean state of the art koi breeding warehouse.

Carried an autoinjector in the service with it in case of Nerve Gas attack on our special unit.

As far as fish go I remember something about a specialized eye treatment.

Mostly lethal to fish.
