I want to attach a piece of Java Moss to a piece of driftwood but tying down isn't feasible. I read on internet that some people CV successfully use superglue and that it is non toxic to fish once cured. Has anyone on here used this method successfully.

I haven't. Do you have something heavyish you can weigh it down with? Small rock, large pebble, nemo ornament? Anything smooth to sit on top of it for a week or two until it grabs the wood? I've found the moss will cling to the roughest surface first, and takes longer to cling to smooth objects - if it ever does. :)

If not, maybe you could place the wood near the out take and just let the current hold it there until it stays by itself?

As for the original question, hopefully someone else can help. May I ask why tying it isn't an option?

i have used a lufa . you cut it open and its like a net

I glue it on wood quite often, and dunk it into my shrimp tanks with no ill effects.

Just make sure to dry and dab dry the wood and moss first, cause it turns white if exposed to the water.

Take a knife or razor blade, cut incisions in the wood and tuck parts of the moss in them
I have a bit of wood with java fern growing on it that I just shoved in the cracks of the wood, some of it died (I assume because I wasn't very gentle with it) but most of it lived and still lives now. :)

I don't want to loose a lot of jave moss I only got a little bit from someone as java moss is very expensive in South Africa and hard to come by. It is really growing well and I think it's time to anchor it to something.
