Attaching overflow box on acrylic tank.

I have a 360g acrylic tank and part of the sides on overflow box are loose. Could I use Gorilla 100% silicone to reattach it? I've seen videos that this sticks the best to acrylic.

No it's not. In my garage at the moment, probably about a month away from setting up.

Oh great never owned a Acrylic aquarium but read that most use a Acrylic weld on to bind
Acrylic together.
