where the heck can i find some smelt!

im lookin for the whole fish frozen in a bag

i been to most grocery stores in chula vista but i cant find any!

anyone got some insight?

I think they sell smelt by the pound at Seafood City off of 4th. Try any asian seafood supermarket like 99 ranch off of clairemont or vien dong in Linda Vista.
Pretty sure all of them carry smelt.

Yup we do.. and an assortment of other Asian Market Stores. I bought a two pound bag of anchovies, thinking it was smelt. Just look at the lables carefully.

anchovy is on sale at ranch, $0.99 per bag, dont know how many pound.. smelt is like 2 lbs/ $2.99.. 4 lbs box of headless shrimp for $8.99 per box
