the palmas palmas is different from the 'gold dust', provided the fish came from toyin.

speaking of 'gold dust', i have yet to see a single one that matches what the author (Aqualog) who coined the term is calling a 'gold dust'. the 'gold dust' i see around are really just regular palmas buettikoferi. 'gold dust' itself may be just a color variant of the buettikoferi or may be not, but that's beside the point. My point is the ones i see around aren't it, yet some insist on calling them 'gold dust'. it really baffles me :irked:

ps. even though its 'gold dust', the fish itself is supposed to have a light purple base color, as opposed to extra yellowish.

I went there today and it is indeed a palmas palmas and not "gold dust". The kolibas were huge.

what prices were they running?

The smaller bichirs like the delhezi and retropinnis are $40. The laps are $65, kolibas $165, congicus $110, endli endli $90 i think, palmas palmas $85.
