My in-laws are going to be staying in LA on the night of May 21st on their way back here from England. I'm planning on ordering some food and some Poret Foam for them to bring back as they'll have plenty of space in their luggage, but I've run into two problems.
1. The hotel wants $5 for a "signature charge" and $10 per day per parcel to hold them. I was planning on ordering with a few days buffer in case they got lost in the mail, but with those charges the bill will soon eat up any money I'm saving by getting them to bring the food back to me.
2. Poret have no shipping between May 5 and May 19 "due to the Interzoo trip", so I'm either going to have a huge bill for the hotel to hold the parcel or have to hope they can send it over-night on May 20 and pray it turns up on time, neither of which I'm very keen on doing.
The plan; I'm looking for someone in LA who who I can send the food and foam to some time before the 20th, who will be able to drop it off at the hotel on May 20-21st. The hotel is the Mariot, 5855 West Century Boulevard, right by LAX. For your troubles I'll spot you $20 of food/whatever from thatfishplace.com where I am ordering the food from.
