Audio Flash Trigger.....

I built a circuit that allowed me to trigger my flash with sound. I bought the parts today and just started messing around, but here is what I came up with.

They'll get much better as I adjust the components.

When the mic picks up sound it fires the flash and captures what is going on.....fun stuff!!

Very impresssive, nice high-speed photography.

OK, I'll take a guess how it works: mic attached to op-amp comparator, and final transistor for switching. Guess the mic is off-pic to the left.

(Sorry for the above techno-waffle guys - talking like this does nothing for my MFK street-cred ! :ROFL:)
 
That's amazing! You really get the gears grinding and make some ridiculous stuff.
