Hello

So I 'am going to be finished cycling my new 38 gallon tank(36 across) before long (fish in cycle ) with 3 zebra danios.

Any way I was at The Tropical Fish Room and saw some little juv Aulonocara stuartgranti Blue neon cichlids, maybe 1inch long(3 for 20$ sounds good to me

).But it did not say what collection point they are from, would a breeding group of hopefully 1male and 5 females (If I could get that lucky i mean) be OK for the long term future.

Hi mate.
The true blue neon is from undu reef.
They have stunning blue heads, anal, and dorsal fins.
The body is a bold rusty colour, and the tail is a mix of both.

I cant say about the USA but here in England they aren't that common in the shops, however there is a man made version that has a duller blue head, and there are bars on the body, that do appear a little to frequently.
The breeding group would do just great.

If it is a genuine fish, then grab it, its a beauty once it matures!
 
Sorry another question. Aulonocara stuartgranti (Usisya) what color do these guys get as I have seen one that is Yellow blue and black and one that is all blue at the same store.

O the Aulonocara stuartgranti Blue Neon were G1 too. :)

The Aulonocara stuartgranti (Usisya) are not G1 but they are 2.5 inches and a few males were already coloring up, which would you chose?

When you say G1 mate, do you mean F1?

If you do mean f1, as in being from wild caught parents, can the shop provide evidence for this, becasue there are some rather unscrupulous people out there that claim stock is f0 or f1 just to bump up the proce.

Ask to see a copy of the invoice that the fish are on, if it isc genuine, they will be happy to provide it to you,.
