Well, you will get nowhere keeping Aurantimaculata in those conditions.
Forget a bright happy Channalover.
First Channalover are best kept in a species only thank. (eg. Just Channalover Aurantimaculata)
Even more so Aurantimaculata, as they are particularly aggressive as they grow, even to their own type!
Next is the temperature.
Aurantimaculata like many Channalover are STRICKTLY sub-tropical.
They thrive (and need) much cooler water. Try 18c-19c most of the year with a little raise in summer months. (in summer mine go up to 21c-22c) and higher in the breeding period if you wish to breed them.
And yes tank needs to be OVER THE TOP planted (real is better, but fake will do) with plenty of hideouts and floating plants.
Lighting needs to be very dim, and filter flow slow as possible.
And substrate is a must as the are sitters. Mine would often grab a huge mouthful and build piles around the tank.
