Aurantis flaring up (love or hate?)

Wow, great video thought for a minute there that it was going to turn violent quick ! I've seen males flick and dance like that for female as well as at each other but never that intense without a fight breaking out !

As for love or hate... seems like they are in the process of deciding that now lol
 
Thanks guys. It was a lucky moment to capture this on camera.
They were palying a bit rough and the "female" (i still have doubts on the sexing of this one) ended up with a cloudy eye. Hopefully it will not be an issue.

The trigger was a water change with warmer water. They were very curious and alert while the new water was entering the aquarium, started to look more and more active and suddenly...
 
I find a big water change makes many fish species a bit frisky, And dont worry about the cloudy eye they heal remarkably fast.
 
Gotta agree on them healing fast. My Diplos had scratches and even major torn fins (from tank transfer, these guys are crazy strong jumpers) and they healed within a few days.
