So ive sucessfully breed the auratus cichlid, not on purpose or anything, they did it themselves really. Came as a surprise because my male was my first cichlid, have had him near two years any only just recently came into the knowledge of what he actully was, hard to beleive hes the same as those bright yellow ones. Anyways I did realize what was going on intime and quarintined her in a ten gallon tank, the main tank is a 125 mixed malawi. Now theres little swimmers all over, and everytime I get near the tank shescoops them all up and hides, should I leave her alone or seperate her from them?

Mine have started breeding too, I just leave them alone and let nature take it's course. Most of the fry end up becoming snacks but there are always a few survivors from each batch.
