How long do you guys think the fry can survive In this breeder box, got rid of my extra tanks so this is all I have till they get big enough to sell/rehome.

That red top in the pic is harassing the shortys too lol.

So last night I stripped about 30-40 fry from my auratus woke up with 6 left lol there attitude towards the adults are getting them pulled through the slits in the breeder box so no one buy the box I. The pic lol

Those boxes do not work for cichlid fry in main tanks. Even the fine nets are no match for the sucking force of adults. You need to move them to another tank for any real success. I use 10 gallons with small heaters and sponge filters which work great. An investment of 40 bucks total and you can easily get that back in a batch or two. After a month or so I move them to larger enclosures of 30-50 gallons to finish growing out. This way usually have nice size fry in 3 months.

Yea I might have to make that investment, this is the second batch in a month and a half from this pair, the first were all eaten while in the box lol

If your talking about the green ones it work for me but it kept falling in the tank had to tape it to lid of the tank
