Auratus with Saulosi

So yesterday i think i made a stupid mistake. I have been waiting for my lfs to get in saulosi and i beleive they are in a week or two I went to another lfs yesterday and thought about getting some tankmates for them before they came. I saw Auratus and started to think about them. I knew they were a Chromis species and i knew that chrmois go well with saulosi. SO i get home and look these guys up and see they are one of the most aggressive mbuna. So will these live with saulosi?!?!?!?! please help

How big is the tank? What else is in the tank? Do they have a lot of places to hide?

I have them mixed together, but I have a lot of other fish too and I whole lot of places for the fish to hide.

the tank is 29g...and yes there is a lot of places to hide. The 2 female auratus are the only fish in there becuase i was waiting to get saulosi and that was all that was goin in there...

if u have big enough space and hiding spots u might be ok, just watch carefully for aggression.

Depends on the fish, how do you know the others are females? They will not change color if male until larger. I would do it, and keep an eye on it.

It should be fine, I had them mixed in a 40g.. How many saulosi are you getting? Make sure the LFS sales them as saulosi and not demasoni, never can be to sure..

i am thinking 3 or 5 saulosi and possibly upgrading tank size in the future

Bigger tank better, again do not be sure on the sex of those until they are larger. I would keep an eye out. In a small tank they can get wicked fast.
