I have a little problem .

What do you think when my pleuro will be the same size as my aurianti if it posible they swin in one tank? Bought grows about 40cm. I have also stewartii but propably they kill them, becouse max of her is 25cm.

In 2008/2009 I will propably have tank 300cmx70x60 I want put in pleuro, aurianti , some clarias and another cat fish. I thin about Phractocephalus Hemiliopterus but i'm afraid abouth live my fish , it is very big predator. What fish should I buy , to put in my those tank in future?

I will try to buy another pleuro ,and aurianti or another channa , but in poland it is very hadr to do it.

You know the score, you never can tell.

I'm trying to grow up an Auranti to put in with my rapidly declining Pleuro, as a tank buddy to kick him out of his depression. It may work it may not. Not sure about that other fish.

I did add some large Tinfoil barbs in with the pleuro on sataday to give him something to look at. The Pleuro hardly notices them, but as the Auranti is a pred too and roughly the same shape the Pleuro may get a bit twitchy.

Like WLR said, you never can tell? But i think it is possible. A bud of mine had a pair of aurantics in a 180 g tank w/ a single pleuro. Since the aurantics are bottom dwelling sp., he had alot of driftwood pieces along the bottom of the tank, 2 stacks on each side. At the top, it was all open for the pleuro to have for itself. It was worked out fine for him. :)

Then I heard of another person that kept a pair of pleuros with a single aurantic that worked out also as well. It's pretty much a a trial and error basis, so you may have to try experimenting with different setups and using various "introduction" methods. Good luck and keep us all posted!

tis combi's gonna be a matter of luck... sometime they get along majority of time they dun... tat's my opinion... so good luck...
