Anyone know if you can house Auriglobus modestus avocado puffer together? I know they are nippy fish but I do not know how they do with each other. I will have a 75 gallon opening up soon to stock.

Giant danios, leporinus, fast fish, etc. But it all depends on the puffers personality. They usually (note that word) can be housed with the same species but ive also heard success with carinotetraodon sp. Not quite the nicest puffer but DEFINITELY not the meanest of the puffers ive seen.

One store I know of used to carry them pretty regularly until they moved to a smaller location.I liked their look and was often tempted to purchase one.

I've never kept them personally, but have heard similar, that they can co-exisit with one another as long as there is plenty of space for each one...

So in a 75G, i would go with maybe max of 4-6 to try and see how they get on...
