Aussie lungfish in LFS in Europe

I live in France and I would like to know if anyone knows where I can buy an AUL (size/price) because it is so rare in Europe.

They are rare everywhere,good luck finding one.

Chances are you will only find them from private owners. AUL have been illegal for a while now, so it's not like an LFS would ever have one randomly... and if they did you better scoop it up lol.

Panta rhei aquatics in Germany Hannover has 2 or 3 left.
Maybe about 15 inches big for 950 euro each.
I was in the shop yesterday.
I love these guys but they get to big and are very expensive.

They are not illegal to own or export from Australia. They are microcchiped as captive bred in Australia, but very few are produced. I'm not aware of any country they are illegal to own.

Yeah I didn't word myself properly, and I thought with the CITES program you had to import 10+ at a time which made it unfeasible most of the time. You are entirely correct though, thanks for correcting me.

That sounds much more realistic haha, I was dreaming big for you brother. They are a dream fish though. I'm hoping in the future the operation will expand and we can see more exported. There are a couple collectors on here...
