We first saw this guy at aquatek about a week or so ago. We really wanted to get him but unfortunately, he is just a bit too big to go in our large tank without eating our smaller upper jaws. We went back to aquatek today and were surprised to see him gone. However, when we got to our next stop, river city aquatics, there he was. Apparently he came in as a trade in yesterday with a large arowana. Is there anyone in the Austin area looking for a large ornate bichir? He is lighter in these pics, was very dark the first time we saw him, and was in with some fish that were harassing him. He is probably at least 11-12". Someone give him the monster tank he needs!
