Does anyone have experience with one of these guys. I got an 8" for $40 and really the only thing I know about him is that he is extremely aggressive. The person I bought him from had to seperate him from an 8" silver and 3x5" oscars due to body damage by this guy.

They're large predatory fish that consequently require a large tank and protein-rich (often live) meaty foods.

here are some pics. currently he is in a 100 gallon and will eventually grow into one of my bigger tanks. currently I have a 240 with a wallago attu catfish that would swallow this guy whole. So for now he is in a 100 gallon.
Nice little jardini you got there. Good luck ever getting it to9 house with an attu though, jars only get around 36" tops attus get HUGE. And jars tend to get a bad rep for being overly aggresive but that doesn't usually peak out until after 7". Looks like you got a little beast in the making :-D
Thanks for the responses guys. The problem with my attu is he's already 21" and growing extremely fast. around 2 -3 inches a month. So they may never get housed in the same tank.
