AUSTRALIAN AROWANA(Scleropages Leichardti)

Any MFK own a large 24 inches Australian Arowana (Scleropages Leichardti) hope to see a picture to share wt us.Found in(Burdekin River & Princhester, 90 miles frm Rockhampton, Queensland.)Max size abt 90cm SL, common to abt 50cm SL.Inhabits still waters & slowflowing sec of streams.Often seen near shore among aquatic vegetation.Spawning occurs just prior to wet season, usualy in nov or dec, is a mouthbrooder diet insect, fishes,frogs & crayfish.Hope to own one soon.tks

Don't forget the other Aussie aro, scleropages jardini ... IMHO just as beautiful as the leichardti's!

I think some can have more colours than jars. Stevos certainly did.
