Australian arowana

how much do Australian arowana go for lets say one that is 8-10in? trying to figure out how much to expect

It depends where you're located. Here in Houston, 3" jardini's go for 60-100 at the LFS. In Cali it's a bit cheaper. IMO, 80-100 for a 8"-10" Jar is fair.

I still dont understand this crap! Its an Australian fish. Where can I get on in Australia that cheap?!?!

WOW LOL you get our fish cheaper then us!!! O_O 3 inchs are normally 100$, A few nice LFS started selling them around the 5 inch mark for 110$ which is fair. One LFS sells them @ 20+ for 200$, everyone buys them saying they will get a large tank few years later they return it and he throws them in his 15ft tank lol. it looks great but because they all get along and theres a few other fish + its scaped really well.
