Alright, well, we all know that Australia has some of the strictest quarantine laws in the world, so pretty much everything is more expensive to get than in other countries, or just out and out illegal.
It's also much harder to get your hands on some of the less often seen exotics. I'm just wondering if any other Australian members might want to contribute some information about where you can LEGALLY get bichirs in Australia, which species, and roughly how much they would be. The possibility of shipping would also be appreciated.
Here in Townsville, there are two stores that stock Senegal bichirs where they retail for 200 dollars or thereabouts. Shipping is a possibility from one of these, though they are slighly more expensive at that shop.
I'm mostly interested because I'm considering getting other varieities of bichir to go with my senegalus, and haven't much of an idea of what options there are out there.
