Australian Breeders?

Heya all,

im just curious to know if there any Aussie Cichla/Peacock Bass breeders out there!

The only place i know at the moment is my LFS but im sure there must be some one out there pumping out them babies!

Must be difficult to be a monster fish keeper in austrailia lol. Redtail catfish are illegal to import. All of them must be over 2 feet long.

I would think that cichla would be illegal there as well.The authorities seem to be pretty strict with non natives that could threaten the ecosystem if released into the waters.

gday mate,

i keep a few mono's. the majority of p.bass in aus are mono's, know of a couple of people with tems though. cant wait until they get them breeding!

as for the RTC comment, mate your spot on with the 2'+ thing!
