Australian LongToms ( GAR )

Hey can anyone down here in Oz help out as to where to get hold of the gar species 'Longtom', and how much they cost please?

Do you have a picture of one? Ive never even heard the name...probably another dumb common name.

Since gars are not on the approved import list it will have to be bred there and you will be impressed by the price-Anne

The longtoms are pelagic marine species akin to Xenetodon sp. needlefish. The 2 common Australian species are:

Barred Longtom: Ablennes hians
Stout Longtom: Tylosurus gavialoides

Hey fellow tank busters, i've managed to locate the best picture example i could find of a Longtom. Does anyone know of price and supply lines here in Oz.
Help would be appreciated.

I live in Melbourne,
And have not seen any, in the LFS.
There may be a few places that could get them in, but you would have to ask them to get it in
