Do any of you have any kinds of australian perch? I want them in my tanks but cant find them... Post some pics if u have them...

If you're talking about barramundi I have one.. Neo has the platinum and gold ones and bunch of other members have them as well. If this is what you're refering too I'll try to dig up pics.
Over the weekend I will take some new pics of my barras, and hopefully a high speed video of them eating.
We've got all kinds of perch...though none are 'true' perches except for the introduced redfin.
The barramundi's a famous one, but we've also got jungle perch up North, coal and sooty grunter etc.
Down South we've got golden and silver perch, Australian bass, Murray Cod etc.
There's also an assortment of pygmy perch and glass perch.
So yes, common names-wise, lotsa perch.

Barcoo grunter ur refering to i take it? only growbout 30 cm or so and can be real Ba%$#ds to other fish, a mildly aggresive fish. They look similar to silver perch but have random blotches either side of its body. I dunno how hey taste only i way to find out!
