I've always wanted one for the longest time and I finally got the chance to get one back in March. They've only been imported twice, and it was years apart. Even then, I've never seen those fish surfaced again. So if you want the largest freshwater fish in Australia (more rare in the US than the Australian lungfish), then this is your chance.

It doubled in size since I got him last month, so it's going to be a big monster.

Only about 2-3" so it's just a fingerling. $200 pickup preferred but I will ship at your risk.

I got it for $100 plus $60 in shipping, so I think $200 is very fair but price is always negotiable.

I know the pictures aren't very convincing, but I assure you it's a very pretty fish that's growing very fast. It was barely an inch when I got it in March, already guarding his own little patch in the aquarium but not overly aggressive.... yet.
