Australian Short-finned eel

hey, just got a short-finned eel and was wondering what food i could give it to variate its diet. its already eating pellets and also has a go at my feeder fish and shrimp. Any ideas?

nightcrawlers? done my research but i would like some peoples opinions on the matter as well.

Nightcrawlers are good. You should try frogs as well.

P.S. where did you get it and did they have australian long-finned eels?

got it from a friend who couldn't keep it anymore, he found it in a pet store which doesn't normally sell eels.
