australian ...tank divider help

i dnt know where to get egg crate or stuff for a divider to make at home
im from aussie land and do anyone one form here no how to make a good tank divider 18x18 the holes need to little so little fish cant pass through to my big fish for there dinner .....

any ideas on what to use ......??

Maybe you should try to make some holes an acrylic sheet and use it as divider.

Try a shop that sells lighting / electrical supplies or a skylight shop.

Go the hardware store and get some plastic gutter guard. Might have to join a few pieces together or use some fly screen mesh siliconed onto a suitable frame..
I was in there today & was looking for the same type thing......Also I thought the plastic air vent covers could be made into something.....Best would be a drilled acrylic sheet......put the fly screen mesh onto that...
How big R the fish???

the biggest fish would b 7"8"
smallest jus unda an inch

if any one could make me one that would be awesome though i no it wont happen lol

Make the frame out of 4 x (1/2 or 3/4) inch PVC pipe & elbow joiners..........

LOL......Bunnings or a plumbing supply. They will probably cut everything to size for you.

If you're going shopping, I'd recommend you find a plastic & acrylic joint.
Go the drilled acrylic......Much nicer & neater...

Eggcrate should be at your larger hardware stores near the florescent lighting. It's usually used as a light difuser.
