Australis aggression?

I had 4 malas in my grow out tank and all was well, until last week I bought another smaller wolf, which is presumed to be an australis (too small to tell yet). He'said been flaring at some of the other wolves and I also noticed all the malas are on one side of the tank with the lone australis on the other. One mala has an injured eye, which I can only presume was from the australis. Are they usually this aggressive?

They aren't too aggressive. Similar to mamas. But you may need to put some decor/plants in there so they can hide abit. The other option is get a bigger tank.

Cut some pvc pipes, hopefully that'll do the trick. Thanks for the reply

Agree, create sight barriers, has a blunter head like Australia's and a bit of an under bite, you could've just happened to get a particularly mean one. Nice wolf

tvbbnumber41 should get clearer pores on ur fish looks like intermedius from the side profile. Head isn't so rounded and never saw all the pores on prior photos.
