Here is my pair of Chanchitos in non breeding colors. Great mellow fish.

I am growing out about 40 fry from their second spawn.

All seems to be going very well and I should be able to sell some babies soon.

Very nice, a truly under-rated fish. I've got a breeding pair, the color changes they go through are amazing.

Redy now if you want 3/8" fry. Some people prefer that size to grow out themselves. I shipped some already a week after free swimming and they arrived with no problems.

Well I left the new babies in the tank and the parents tried their best to fend off the tankmates. No more fry left so the pair went back to their very light non breeding colors. Still a gorgeous fish.

Male is getting fat.
