Australoheros sp. Red Ceibal and cf. scitulus "Zanja Honda"

Got 6 Australoheros sp. Red Ceibal and 4 Australoheros cf. scitulus "Zanja Honda" from Scott, sent to him by Felipe. They are about 3" and eating like pigs. Very active fish.


Australoheros sp. Red Ceibal - they should look better in breeding dress...hopefully it won't be too long

Australoheros cf. scitulus "Zanja Honda" - IMO more attractive than sp. Red Ceibal

Presumably not when there are a bunch of them....they are doing well so far - no aggression whatsoever. Also very mild with other fish in the tank...

I guess this is pretty close to what they'll look like eventually..... Breeding dress maybe very different - hope I'll get to see that
